Some such protein rich foods for hair growth are soy products, beans, eggs, fish, milk, cheese, yogurt, whole grains, seeds and nuts.

Moreover, fresh green vegetables, like spinach, lettuce, lentils, broccoli and legumes are valuable in making your hair thicker and fuller.

Spinach, in particular, is a highly beneficial grocery item that encourages hair growth because it is loaded with antioxidants and essential vitamins and minerals.

In addition, asparagus, mushroom, tuna, salmon and other such niacin or vitamin B3 rich foods help alleviate stress and hence prevent hair loss caused by stress.

Vitamin B3 also helps release energy from the foods you eat. Nonetheless, do not have vitamin B3 in excess or else it can lead to liver malfunction.

Besides it is suggested that you take judicious amounts of brewer’s yeast, whole grain cereals, rice, milk, potatoes, chickpeas, lima beans, wheat germ and other vitamin B complex rich foods to promote healthy hair growth. Biotin and folic acid particularly help your hair grow faster and prevent hair loss.

Further, consume a variety of Vitamin A, C and E rich foods like fresh carrots, peaches, apricots, bananas, avocados, strawberries, kiwi, other citrus fruits, cabbage, cheese, dried beans, Brussels sprouts, green bell peppers, tomatoes, raisins, black currants etc to stimulate hair growth.

Moreover, dark green vegetables such as Swiss chard and kale are rich sources of iron that assists in growing hair by carrying oxygen to hair.

For instance, you can easily consume raw sunflower seeds or add ground flax seed in cereals, salads or smoothies. Needless to add, do not have foods that you are allergic to.

You can take multivitamins and nutritional supplements after taking advice from your doctor in case you are suffering from nutritional deficiencies. Moreover, regularly drink adequate amount of water to keep your skin and hair healthy.

Hence, take good care of your lustrous locks and have a healthy, well balanced diet consisting of optimum amounts of foods packed with vital hair vitamins to enhance hair growth and revitalize your hair.

However, make sure you do not over indulge in foods that stimulate hair growth because eventually, excess of anything is bad.
