    they say if you brush your hair from roots to tips one hundred times on each side .it will increases for length and thickness of the hair. good luck

    • Corina says:

      @cassandra lyn liz: Actually that is reeeeeeaaaaaalllly bad for your hair. Because brushing your hair too much can cause spit ends. So please, do not do that.

    • Jessica says:

      @cassandra lyn liz:
      Actually, brushing your hair 100 times a day can shorten your hair, because overbrushing causes damage to the hair follicle and and reduces shine by roughing up the follicle as well.

      I take multi vitamins in the morning and drink lots of water. It’s amazing the changes u see and feel in ur body just by dring 8 glasses of water a day. It really does make ur hair grow faster. Anthoner thing I do that is amazing is I wash my hair with warm not hot water. And I use my detachable shower head to rinse the conditioner in cold water. Heat makes the cells of your hair open and cold makes the cells close. So when u wash with warm ur getting rid of all the bad pollution and toxins, when u rinse with cold it holds in the moisture preventing breakage so ur hair grows longer faster. Try it once and your hair will feel like silk. Always use a wide tooth comb to remove tangles when ur is damp not wet or dry.my hair dresser taught me this because I have always had long hair and I bleach it, so it used to be really dry and broken at this ends, but the above advice changed all that@cassandra lyn liz:

  2. they also say that if u take a vitmanc and drink water every day it will mack grow longer thiker and stronger

    No it doesn’t!
    It isn’t hard to figure out that brushing pulls out your hair gradually! Thats why you get loads of hair on your hairbrush. It also damages it if you overbrush! Idiot.

    • inge m says:

      @L222:
      totally correct its bad for hair if you overbrush.
      that lotsa brushing is good for hair is a common myth….

    • `Shally. says:

      @L222: Gradually brushing/combing do damage your hair, but you’re suppose to brush when you’re done showering/bathing or when you just want to brush to get the tangle out of it. Brushing hair is okay, but hair that comes out are probably the ones that are already damaged before you even know it. What’s important is that your hair gets more vitamin C, like @mikayla chavez: said. Her example of a healthy hair is good option.

      I prefer short or medium hair over long hair. Because long hair gets tangle really easily than short/medium hair. So it depends how thick or thin your hair is and the length of your hair. As long as your hair is healthy, you’re hair won’t get damaged much. (:

      @L222:

      Here is a little history lesson:
      many years ago (when people had manners and read books) women believed in brushing their hair by using 100 strokes. The hair was brushed gently and slowly. The brushes were not plastic then but rather made from animal hair (you may know this as bristles) Brushing the hair in so many strokes increased the circulation of their heads and it was just a common practice. This also enabled a natural conditioning, distributing the oil from the scalp through the hair. People did lots of things way back when which today we do not do anymore. Instead today we wash, condition, we dye, we blow dry, we straighten hair. I wonder who the “idiots” really are since then it was merely brushing. :) I hope this helped to decrease your negative temperament and enabled you to learn. There are also classes which enable people to communicate more effectively with others. Check it out at a nearby college. Thank you, with highest regards, Niki

  4. cindy says:

    @L222 there is no need to call others idiots, it was merely a comment.

  5. rosie lisays says:

    but it s true though that it will merely rip out your hair by a comb or brush -_-

  6. Marie says:

    Does this really work cuz i got a haircut and i dislike it and want to try this does it work??

    • Erin says:

      @Marie: Believe me, I know. I recently got my hair cut, and I hate it! It’s really hard to pull up in a clip or ponytail, so it’s always in my face. I also have oily hair, so the acne on my face is unbelievable!

    • elena says:

      @Marie:
      Same here,i got the worst haircut and my hair just got really bad uneven lengths.
      PLEASE TELL ME THIS WORKS!!!!!

  7. marilyn says:

    yeah right this is ALL fake this doesn’t work i have a pixie cut and if i start brushing my hair I’m going to get sooo many slit ends and its going to take forever until my hair grows long

    • `Shally. says:

      @marilyn: If you wash your hair most of the time, or if you chose the healthy option for your hair, which is another option that’s good for it. Not only does it have to be healthy for it to get longer, but you need to brush your hair, or it’ll just tangle up all your hair. And you shouldn’t say its “ALL FAKE” because you probably didn’t even try it. And growing long hair does not take 5 minutes like magic. It takes weeks or days or even months to get your hair longer. You have to be patience, if you’re not patience, then your hair won’t grow. I don’t really take this option, because my hair grows either way, time by time, it grows.

      • marilyn says:

        wow!!! okay first of all i only brush my hair like after a shower and o more during the day and my hair is not a tangled mess like u said okay! and yes i have tried it so don’t tell me not to say that its ALL FAKE when i think its fake okay its my opinion and you need to get over it

    • victoria says:

      @marilyn: thats YOUR fault for cutting you hair short sweetie. this actually works for SOME people, your obviously not one of them. plus you gotta think hair does involve genetics, soo if your family has history of having slow hair growth, then its gonna take time, but if your hair grows fast, then why are you complaining?

    • hair grower outer says:

      @marilyn: i think so too.

    • Ashley says:

      That happened to me..? I got my haircut last year in march and my hair was a little bit above my elbow and when I got it cut it was A little bit above my should because the lady messed up and had to cut it shorter and so ever since I got my hair cut in march I started over brushing it and it stopped growing. Ever since march itsprobably only grown an inch or 2..@marilyn:

  8. rob says:

    Im gonna try this, had my hair at a medium length but had to get it cut super short because of my army cadet camp…. Got 2 and a half weeks till school starts will this work in time??? Thanks for the advice! :)

  9. the one says:

    i like pie

  10. Chloe says:

    Okay, best way to make your hair grow longer and thicker faster is just keep it as healthy as you can. If your hair is dry then condition from middle to ends of your hair about once a week, however if it is quite oily only condition it about once every 2-3 weeks. Resist from dying hair and using lots of heating tools (use heat protection). Get it trimmed about every six weeks. :)

  11. charlie says:

    i accidentally cut my bangs WAY to short and school just started. what is the quickest way to grow them out? is there any way i can hide them that WILL LOOK GOOD?

    • marilyn says:

      well i don’t think there is anyway that you can make them grow faster but until they are long enough to look good you can pin them up or put them to the side but don’t stress about it because then its going to take a longer time for them to grow but i hope u find a solution :D good luck!

    • tht girll says:

      @charlie: @charlie the way i put mine is to the side with clips or put them up with clips them braid the sides or if im feling lazy i just comb them back and put a headband on or spin my hair into a bun or put it into a loose ponytail or side braid and put brads were i have my bangs

    • brenda says:

      @charlie: lmao, that is EXACTLY why im on here. ironic ;)

    • Melina says:

      charlie, you should try bobby pins and next time you cut your hair you might want to try picturing your haircut first or going to a salon

    • imani says:

      just brush them with a ball point brush that works for me when i cut them to short

    • bri says:

      @charlie:
      Pin them with a bobby pin, theres many ways to do this, and for most people it compliments their face. Hope this helps :)

    • c lady says:

      The only thing you can do if you still want to wear a bang is to add a piece of hair extension to the bang area. It wrks great on hepling grow your natural hair back.

    • Nikki says:

      @charlie: OKAY. i had the same issue! what you can do is learn how to do a nice french braid and just brain that downwards and clip it in. it really helps. theres also lots of ways to clip bangs back like in a small bump, or simply clip it back. i really hope this helpss..!

      • Anne says:

        My hair started shedding when my doctor put me on new blood pressure pills. Turns out, some BP meds cause hair loss/or hair shedding. I goggled my new BP meds and sure enough they caused hair loss. I had my doctor change my BP meds to one that doesn’t cause hair loss. Then, I got a good hair growth/thickener serum from Ebay–that you add into your shampoo; it cost about $30.00; but It worked. I have my hair back. It’s thick, strong, and long.

    • EpicKidMcawesome says:

      @charlie: Put it up in a poof :D
      Take them and clip them at the top of your head leaving a poof! :D

    • Katniss says:

    Get Extensions!

  14. AK says:

    Healthy hair is the key. I only wash my scalp. If you stimulate the scalp it will help stimulate hair growth. I also don’t rub the shampoo into the ends, I let the suds just rinse out and it still gets my hair clean without the damage. Dry shampoo is another good way to avoid drying out your hair and most stores carry it now for a lot of different hair types. If you want softer hair then you should leave your conditioner in for a few extra minutes. I also rinse with cooler water, I heard that it gives hair more shine and is less damaging. If your hair is super damaged I suggest that once a week you take one egg white and mix in some real mayo then cover your hair in it, then wrap something around your head to lock the hairs in. Then sit down and watch a movie with some girl friends so that it can sit for an hour or two, or sleep with the mixture in. It smells absolutely horrible but it does wonders for your hair and makes it look and feel healthy. If you want your hair to grow quickly, take prenatal vitamins. I’m not pregnant, but I do take them because these pills have an unbelievable amount of vitamins, since its supposed to be enough for two. I take two everyday and my hair has grown a highly noticeable amount in a month or two. You can find some in a green bottle at walmart for like four dollars and they will last 50 days and I guarantee that you will see results within weeks of taking them.
