@sunny kumar rao: You need to see a dermotologist (or any doctor really) as soon as possible. Depending on your condidtion, they can give you injections of a medication called Kenalog directly into the balding areas and your hair will grow with this treatment. I worked for a dermatologist for years.
@sunny kumar rao:
i had the same problem but i used triphala churan…its an herbal medicine…it improves digesion n controlls the three doshas of body….use castor oli warm it n 15 min of massage will make ur hai strong…my hairs r started to grow now…it really works try it
@Maria: It does work to moisturize – to grow, I can’t really speak to. I really like using coconut oil. I use an organic coconut oil that you can find at trader joe’s, whole foods, or the natural foods aisle in most grocery stores. It’s great for your skin as well. I lightly spray my hair with water and then run the warm oil through my hair until it is fully coated. I sleep with the oil on my hair and wash it out in the morning. I have found, however that the best thing for healthy hair is eating properly, not washing everyday, and using a sulfate free shampoo. My hair feels great all the time!
@Shana: I use 100% all natural coconut oil. It is light and very easy to shampoo out the next day. Eating lots of Green vegetables raw will also reward one with healthy hair as well. I co-wash my hair three times a week. Why so often? Because dirt, dandruff can & will keeps the hair follicle from reproducing new growth hair.
@Maria: I’ve lots over half my hair due to taking birth control. I had been losing my hair for about 3 years. A year ago I went off birth control, and it continued to fall out. A couple weeks ago I decided to use some organic, extra virgin coconut oil. Now it’s growing back thicker and better than before. I have to say, you sound pretty pessimistic. You probably haven’t even tried it. Everyone I know that has tried it, has had it work for them. Maybe try being a bit more positive and focus some good, loving energy on your hair. It’s worth the grease, and it’s cheaper than anything out there. Trust me, not a waste.
Mindi, you should try adding some organic Rosemary oil to it! I put around 10-15 drops per 2 tablespoons of Coconut oil. I use the “NOW” brand of organic Rosemary oil. Their quality of products is awesome for the price. I get that, my coconut oil, and other random natural stuff from iherb.com. Their prices are soooo good and the customer service is incredible their shipping prices and time frame for shipping are totally the best too. But anyways, the way the Rosemary oil makes your scalp feel is ridiculous I love it. It conditions yours hair along with the coconut oil annnnd promotes hair growth. Definitely an awesome combination :3 But like I said in a previous comment I would avoid microwaving any oils because you kill living nutrients in them. And cold-pressed oils are the way to go with Coconut. Sorry if you already know all this; I just get so excited when talking about stuff like this lol. Oh, and one more thing, I recently got some “Dr.Bronner” liquid lavender soap to start using for Shampoo, and OMG. It’s perfect to use with the oil soaks because it gets it right out of your hair. And I also never realized how much my old soap was weighing down my hair. After the first time I used Dr.Bronner’s magic soap my hair was SOOO thick. I actually just started using it yesterday lol and I’m soooo happy with it. It’s all-natural and organic ingredients and concentration make it a steal for the price
@Maria: i am an asian female and in my culture we use hair oil a lot i apply oil to my hair about 3 times a week and leave it over night you would be so surprised at the results my hair is thick and down o the bottom of my back so yes it does work i just use coconut oil i find it works the best
@Sahil:Sahil, switch to natural hair care products instead of alcohol and chemical based formulas. take vitamin E capsules for at least one or two months.homeopathic and ayurvedic treatments are also considered good.
my friend lost most of his hair because of alopecia, he took manuka honey, 2 spoonfulls a day, and vitamin b sulpliments, 6 motnhs later, he almost has a full head of hair again. good luck babe x
I know that the side you sleep on the most is usually where you would experience hair loss. Try sleeping on your back, as well as the oils everyone else is suggesting.
I screwed up my hair by drying it while it was already dry (i had it in a bun). I didn’t notice until i took my bun off and ran my fingers through my hair and saw the bunches of hair coming off. Please, any store bought or online products that would help???

Use emu oil and castor oil and jojoba oil that will help your hair stronger and regrow the hair lost and also massage your scalp about 5mins each time you apply oils on your scalp, i hope this help
@insia fatima: I also use olive and rosemary oils every other night; I massage it on to my scalp PLUS I found vitamins on the internet: “Hair Essentials” which are working wonders for me – including the regrowth and length of my eyelashes. I wish the best for you.
@insia fatima:
Last year I used the platinum hair growth system and Hair Formula 37 hair vitamins. My hair grew very fast. My hairdresser even commented on it. I dont think platinum hair growht system is easy to find anymore. Honestly, I dont know which one made my hair grow, or maybe it was them combined together, but my hair grew and it grew fast.
I too am suffering from similar problems I have bald patch on left and right side at the front. I am getting married in November 2011 and going through medication for the same.
